Red Girl saying Hi–eyes open, hearing, and getting to move around more in the new, larger area. Blue girl–sleepy and doesn’t really want t have her picture taken–at 3 weeks it is difficult to get a good picture of the pups–they move a lot and if you make a noise they hear the noise, but really don’t know where the noise is coming from. Buzz (Absolute To Affinity and Beyond) is still the biggest in the litter–and today was the first to explore the new–bigger area that they have just moved into. All the pups continue to gain weight (they are chubby) and I can’t believe how fast they grow. They are all wobbling around–not necessarily going in the direction they want to go (reverse seems to work really well).
This is the second time the pups have been outside their crate and x-pen area. The top picture shows the usual “pig pile” with the Blue girl on top, Buzz (the male) in the center, and Red girl on the right. The picture above is Buzz in the center. The pups eyes are about to open and their pigment is coming in. All the pups weigh at least 1 pound (Buzz being the biggest, followed by the Blue girl, and then the Red girl). Sydney continues to be an excellent mother.
Red girl–the first female born and the smallest at this time of the 3 puppies, but doing her best to catch up with her siblings.Blue girl–second born and a “chow” hounds from the beginning. Growing and gaining weight every day.The handsome boy–the last to be born and the biggest of the 3 pups. All the pups are growing rapidly and changing so quickly–pigment coming in. It’s going to be so fun to watch them grown. Sydney is doing well and is just being an excellent mother for her first litter.
It was time to say good-bye to Monroe today. He has won my heart! I’m so happy he will be living with Sheri and we’ll be seeing him often.
Reagan and Monroe visited the vet today for their final set of puppy shots.
Tomorrow Monroe goes to his “forever” home with Sheri.
I know Reagan and I are going to miss him very much!
