This is Lacey in her first snow–yesterday (Oct. 3, 2017) in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.   The snow was also an early snow–sure hope it isn’t an omen of what’s to come.  But, there is something that Bichons just really like about snow!

When you absolutely positively HAVE to see what is going on inside!  The famed vertical leap.  Next time we will record the hang time.  May have to call her Air Mitzi.

I’ll bet she looked just as funny from the inside.

Great photo by Dina Taylor!

Day 1 and 2 proved to be identical in the placements.

Oliver going winners dog and best of winners for two AKC points with Sassy taking the points for the girls.  Mr. Cash was Select dog both days.

This was the first dog show for the Absolutely Team in the new RV.  It was 2 very warm days out in the middle of a hay field but we were quite comfortable.  Warm breezes filtered through the set  up with the shade awning over head.  The dogs were playing (not in crates) comfy chairs, snacks, cool drinks and good company.   We think this RV thing was a good idea!

Special Cash

Cash made his debut as a Special this past weekend at the Olympic Kennel Club shows with owner Dina Taylor on the lead.  His goal was to capture the “Select” dog award each day giving him his first points toward his Grand Champion title.  Success!

Cash loves being a show dog.  Especially all the grooming.  Isn’t that right Cash?

Brooklyn is 13 weeks, imported from Canada. She is a lively addition to our household and the older girls love playing with her.

Brooklyn (Absolutely LDH New York Minute) is very curious. She meets new challenges head on. She quickly learned to drink from a Lick-It, and use the dog door. She is learning to stand for her treat. Collar? Leash? not a problem.

Lacey (aka Blue Girl) had a bath, a bit of a hair trim, nails trimmed in preparation for meeting her new family.Today the Boyd family arrived to take charge of their new family member, Lacey.  Tonight Lacey is spending her first night in a local hotel (hope she is a good girl and doesn’t get her wonderful new family in trouble!!!) and tomorrow morning they will start the journey to Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.  The Boyd family has waited a long time to get their “girl” and I hope she is everything that they want in a dog–she is going to have a great, fun life–and all the attention she can handle.  Promises have been made for pictures of her and stories about what she is up to.  Have fun all–and I hope that tonight Lacey doesn’t keep you awake!!!!

Hey everyone!  It’s me…Oliver.  My hoomans went to an RV show a couple of weeks ago and look at what showed up at the house today!  Can you believe it??!!  M & D say they have been looking at RV’s since before I was born and when they saw this model they knew it was time to pull the trigger.  Not too big and not too small.  It’s juuuuuust right.  It’s a Class A Coach, 26 1/2 feet Thor Vegas model 24.1 with one slide out.  I don’t know what all that means but it looks like there is plenty of room for the whole fam-damly, even Simon and grouchy uncle Parker.  So now we can all take trips and vacations together!  No one has to stay behind (unless they want too).  Mom says that it will be perfect for dog shows.  She says it will be a lot more comfortable while we wait around for Group.  And since I’m gonna to be a star, I need to have star treatment!    Mom is very excited.  Dad is too!
