Buzz (at 5 1/2 months old) loves his toys and garbage can. When I decided to take a picture of him he was sleeping in the garbage can–but he always alert to what is going on around him so this the only picture I could get of him. Buzz is a very busy boy–and loves a good run and chase.
Buzz is in need of a hair cut–and he got one (I need to take a “after” picture). Puppy hair is not the greatest! This time Buzz was better in the bath and getting dry–I was only partially soaked! Buzz likes his chews and he is really a happy dog–he looks grumpy in this picture, but he isn’t.
Buzz had a bath and a big boy hair cut a week ago in preparation for going to handling class–I have to take the picture quickly since Buzz will soon be a mess–typical male pup–loves to wrestle, run, and play–life is a big party and Buzz is enjoying every moment.
Sometimes Buzz likes to nap in his favorite garbage can–that way no other dog can sneak up on him from the rear and he can keep an eye (shut) on his toys. But then again, Buzz likes to sleep in the plastic toy box–how comfortable is this position?? I get a stiff neck just looking at the way he is sleeping–but if you have played as hard and as long as Buzz has, you can fall asleep anywhere.
Today Milcah (aka Red girl) went to her new forever home with Marilynn. It’s a perfect love affair for both of them. Pictures have been promised so we’ll get to see Milcah grow and mature. Buzz and I will miss her, but she is going to a wonderful, loving new home with another Bichon buddy–and we hope they will get along perfectly–Marilynn will let us know how the introduction goes.
Today was a BIG day for the pups–Milcah (aka Red Girl) got a bath and a big girl hair cut by Dena. Tomorrow Milcah will go to her new forever home and we will miss her, but know she will have a wonderful life. I’m sure we’ll get pictures of her as her grows and matures and be able to share them on the blog. Milcah was very interested in the Christmas tree.Buzz was more of a challenge in the bath and with the hair cut than his littermate. I think that the floor and I had as much water on us as Buzz!!! Buzz and Dena also had to come to an agreement about getting groomed and with all of Dena’s grooming experience, Buzz lost and got groomed. Buzz will be staying here with us, so there will be more pictures of him posted on the blog as time goes on. Buzz was also interested in the Christmas tree to the point that he got a hold of Santa and didn’t want to let go.
Thank you Dena for grooming up these 2 pups!! They look great.
Why sleep on a comfy crate pad when you can sleep on top of a plastic storage container??? Mother, Sydney, is actually sleeping outside the gated area and keeping an eye on the pups. From left to right: Buzz, Blue girl, Red girl.If you don’t like sleeping on the storage box, then the next place is the little dish pan, which is very crowded with these 3 pups. From left to right: Buzz, Red girl, and Blue girl.
Red girl sitting behind the Blue girl–on top of the storage box. The pups are really growing now an changing so fast.Buzz is the most difficult of the pups to take a picture of–always in motion and curious about what I am doing–so I try to take candid pictures, but it doesn’t work every time. Fun, very active litter–full of adventure and mischief.
