Zoe (Piper’s Purple Girl) looks very happy in her new home. She’s a sweetie!
Yellow Girl or Purple Girl? Which one shall I choose?
Yellow Girl, called Liberty, has gone home with Tasheena. Liberty will be shown in conformation, but will also participate in obedience, agility, rally. What else is there? She’ll get to try them all.
Piper’s puppies are almost 12 weeks old…time to send some off for their next big adventure in life.
It’s always sad to say good-bye! On a happier note, it’s wonderful to see how these puppies are loved and cherished by their new families.
Pups are 11 weeks old today. They have so much energy! It’s always a party. They run under the bed, around the kitchen island, out the doggie door, around the cement dog yard and back in again. Piper likes to join in the fun, too.
Piper’s puppies look so cute in their first Bichon hairdo! They were surprisingly cooperative getting clipped and scissored. It was more of a challenge getting them to stack nicely for their photo.
Piper’s boys. Maybe the girls will be more cooperative after a nap.
Yellow girl (Frankie) has found the most comfortable bed!
Piper’s 5 squirmy puppies did not pose well for their 8 week photos. This was taken a day later, with the help of some friends. It took 4 people to hold the pups, 1 person to take the photo and 1 person to make an excellent funny noise to get the pup’s attention. As you can see from one of the pictures, even that effort was not always successful!
Piper’s puppies celebrated their 8 week birthday with a bath and a trip to the vet. They were due for their first set of puppy shots. They each had a physical and I’m happy to report that everything is normal. They had lots of fun at the vet. The girls weren’t phased by anything. Green boy thought we were trying to kill him when the vet took his temperature. He was just fine with his injection. The Clear boy had no problem with his temp, but he wasn’t fond of the shot. Weights: Yellow girl is 3.8 lb., the boys are 3.6 lb. Red and Purple girls are 3.4 lb.
