6 Weeks Have Gone By Quickly

Pretty Orange Girl weighs 2lb. 5oz. She takes her time when she is introduced to something new. On the other hand, she is independent and will be off exploring all by herself.

Pretty Orange Girl weighs 2lb. 5oz. She takes her time when she is introduced to something new. On the other hand, she is independent and will go off exploring all by herself.

It’s been a while since I’ve given a report:

  1. puppies are cutting teeth
  2. they had their first sleep-over at my daughter’s(while I was out of town)
  3. a new exercise area has been set up so they’ll have more room to run
  4. their first full bath and drying with a hair dryer took place and  they handled it surprisingly well
  5. they are eating softened kibble, but still prefer to nurse
Pink Girl weighs 2lb.3.6oz. She likes to play and try new things.

Green Boy is perhaps the rowdiest. He's the one who escaped from the big box (thus necessitating a new and larger play area, with higher sides!) He tips the scales at 2lb.4.1oz.

  1. Blue Boy must be camera shy. He wouldn't look at the IPad. He is not shy in any other way, though. He is our heaviest at 2lb. 8.6oz.

Some Little Puppies Need A Haircut

I was only out of town for a few days, but it seems like the puppies grew in size, abilities, and especially coat! Thanks to my daughter for her excellent "puppy sitting"!

I was only out of town for a few days, but it seems like the puppies grew in size, abilities, and especially coat! Thanks to my daughter for her excellent “puppy sitting”!  This is green boy.

Happy 4 Week Birthday!

Pink Girl has always been the heaviest. She still is, just barely. She weighs 1 lb. 12 oz. During picture taking time she wanted to explore. I got several pictures of her back!

Our smallest puppy, Green Boy, weighs 1lb. 10.8 oz.

Our smallest puppy, Green Boy, weighs 1lb. 10.8 oz.  He is small, but mighty.

1 lb. 11.8 oz. Miss Orange decided to go under the dresser. It was a challenge to get her to hold still long enough for a picture.

Instead of sitting still for her picture, Miss Orange decided to go under the dresser.  I had to fish her out!  She weighs 1 lb. 11.8 oz.

Blue Boy has been gaining weight. He now weighs 1 lb. 11.8 oz. The puppies have a new daytime play space. It has a tunnel and Blue was the first to go in the tunnel. Brave Boy!

Three weeks old

New this week:

eyes and ears are open, they are walking instead of scooting, puppy wrestling has begun.
