Mitzi, 10.5 weeks

Here’s Mitzi, formerly known as Pink Girl. She was fine in the bath, but she did not like the dryer.

We didn’t get a nine week picture taken, but here is the family at 9.5 weeks old.

The Green Boy was just waiting for a chance to jump off the sofa. His mother and half-sister wrestle with him all the time. He gives as good as he gets!

Pink Girl likes to follow me around. The downside of that is she has gotten stepped on a few times.

Eight weeks have gone by quickly.  The puppies are really an easy litter to raise.  They have discovered the joys of running through the house, and they especially like to play with 9 month old Sunny.

"Let us out!!" They are ready for their evening romp. Purple, Green, Pink.

The puppies celebrated the New Year by having a party.  They seemed to enjoy all the attention they received.  Since things have been a bit busy, 7 week pictures had to wait until 7.5 weeks.

This photo is entitled squirmy 7.5 week old puppies. From the left, purple girl, green boy, pink girl.

The attempt at a family portrait was met with frustration. The sisters decide to say "Hi" over their brother's head.

Oh my!  What a lot of barking from the pink girl.  She is challenging the older dogs who are in their crates.  Green boy decides it is more fun to chew on a toy and Purple can’t be bothered when there is a good tasting chew.

The threesome are 6 1/2 weeks old.  They had their first baths.  They did surprisingly well.  The hair dryer experience was met with skepticism.  The clippers and scissors affected each puppy differently.

The Pink Girl was a bit stressed out with the grooming experience. I expected she might object, but she sat very still. She was exhausted afterwards, but is ready to go now.

The grooming didn't bother Mr. Green at all. But grooming him was like grooming a moving target!

Purple Girl was a bit squirmy, but not too bad. She would not pose for a picture, so my husband held her so I could get a photo.

Since all three 5 week old puppies attempted to climb out of their big box, they have been moved to a larger and more secure enclosure.  Sunny loves to entertain them from outside their pen.  (She also tries to steal their toys.)

Here is a better picture of Pink Girl. She already has definite ideas of her own.

Our boy is pretty brave. Yesterday he spent some time away from his littermates... that didn't bother him a bit.

Purple Girl is just a little smaller than her siblings. She is sweet and agreeable and cuter than this picture shows.

People have asked why there are not more pictures of the Pink Girl.  I have had difficulty getting a good picture.  Either she is not photogenic, or possibly it’s because she won’t hold still long enough to take a picture.  Here’s our best effort.
