Team Absolutely had a very good weekend at the Mt. Baker Kennel Club show in Lynden, WA–Saturday Flo was Best of Breed–Poppy was Reserve Winner. On Sunday, Poppy was Winners Bitch for 2 points and Best of Opposite Sex. Benny was entered in the Best of Breed competition and received a Select both days–so hopefully a point towards his Grand Championship.

I had the privilege of being Roxee’s breeder. During whelping, an e-mail came from Sheri, asking if I had any Bichon Frise puppies. Sheri wrote very eloquently of the reason she wanted a Bichon and told of her plans for caring for the puppy. Later she visited and even brought a gift basket for the puppies.
Roxee was one of three puppies. She was always the first to try new things. She was very smart and very adventuresome

Roxee was a little charmer. Sheri says Roxee changed her life. She is the dog who introduced Sheri to dog show handling and grooming. I can picture Roxee at the shows. People would come by and admire the dogs. Roxee LOVED the attention. She would see someone watching her and she’d start the Pat-A- Cake show. She’d start off slow and work up her speed. People were captivated and by the time she was in the ring, she’d have her own fan club.

Roxee brought much joy to everyone she met. She was a special girl and we’ll miss her.

Lily Goes Swimming Please click on the caption to the left. Lily is wintering in Mexico with her family, Steven and Patricia. Lily went swimming for a toy and when she gets to shore her best buddy, Finley, steals her toy.
It’s so much fun to see pictures of the puppies I have bred. This is Miss Poppy Wilson at 7 1/2 mos. old. Her mother is Piper and her sister is Hannah. Poppy is the energizer bunny. She was always the last puppy to fall asleep and the first puppy to wake.

I am puppy-sitting Poppy (red girl).
She is having the best time playing with her siblings, Hannah and Oliver. Today we had rain and wind. It’s like Puppy Disneyland! They were ever so helpful bringing the leaves into the house, tracking wet puppy prints wherever they walked.
