Rosie and Zeke are proud to announce the birth of their litter on Sunday evening, Oct. 14, 2012. Starting at 8:05 p.m. and ending at 10:40 p.m., 4 females and 1 male were born. All had good birth weights and are active little pups. Rosie is an excellent mother and seems to have everything under control. Zeke on the other hand is still waiting to get a chance to see his puppies–which will happen after Rosie has a couple of days to adjust to her new family. Both Sue and Karen were on hand to assist Rosie with her delivery and all went smoothing–a new experience for Karen!!!

Rosie is ready for the birth of her puppies–today she got her hair cut in preparation! Rosie probably wouldn’t appreciate having her tummy shown–but for such a little girl her tummy has really grown! Zeke is the proud sire! We are hoping for healthy, beautiful puppies.

Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 Zeke was Best of Breed at the Wenatchee Kennel Club show in Cashmere, WA. winning the coveted Golden Apple that I’ve always wanted!! On Sunday, Simon (Zeke’s littermate) was Best of Breed–so we kept the Golden Apples in the “family”.

Zeke here…..

Here’s my Dad, Chip, leading the parade at the stud dog competition at our Bichon National Specialty.  I’m in second place (after all, I am the older brother).  Coming in third is my brother Simon.  Notice how Simon and I are practicing our synchronized running!

We are so excited about Pipers major win last weekend. Her older half brother Simon won the breed at the same show. Simon is bearing down on his Bronze level Grand Championship. Almost there!!

Simon and Brother Zeke are now traveling to Chicago for Nationals. Karen, Sue and I will meet up with them on Thursday. It should be a fun bichon intense weekend. Hopefully we will have some photos and good news to share upon our return.
