Where has the time gone–the puppies are 7 weeks old. This week I was going to try something different for the weekly poses–a basket with all the puppies in it–well, that didn’t work at all–they just wanted to chew on the basket, try to climb out, wrestle with each other and just generally not cooperate!!! So it is head shots again–maybe next week we’ll try something different–how about show stacks?–I laugh just thinking about trying to show stack these babies. From the left: Blue girl, Pink girl, Male, Red girl, Purple girl.

Our friend Kippen Westfall came to see us at the Whidbey Island show in Monroe.  She brought along two of our favorite Bichons.  Karen is holding Toby,  Sue has Libby.  Zeke is with me (Sheri) as he was entered in the show.  While we didnt get any ribbons that weekend, it was sure nice to see a couple of dogs that mean so much to us.  Thank you Kipp for bringing Toby and Libby for a visit!!

What a fun age! 6 weeks old and all energy and new experiences–wanting to explore and get into trouble! Wrestling, running, chasing, jumping, playing tag, lapses in their attention span–and learning that those little puppy teeth are very sharp (and mother Rosie lets them know)!! Also learning that the sloppy puppy food is not a beauty treatment and if they fall (or play) in the food dish they get a bath–but life is just plain FUN!!  From the left:  Blue girl, Pink girl, Male, Red girl, Purple girl, and mom Rosie.

Week 5 has brought some big changes–the pups are really getting around now–teething, wrestling, growing rapidly, and developing their own personalities–this is a FUN age–except for the “clean up”–which is only the beginning!  Pictured in the same order:   Blue girl, Pink girl, Male, Red Girl, Purple girl.

Week 4 brought more changes for the pups–they are really getting around now, playing with each other, teeth are coming in, and some solid (very mushy and soupy) puppy food has been introduced along with Rosie “cream” milk. The pictures are in the usual birth order, Blue girl, Pink girl, Male, Red girl, and Purple girl.

Week 3 has brought some BIG changes to Rosie and Zeke’s puppies. Eyes are now open, they are able to hear noise, and they are up walking on wobbly legs–so life is changing rapidly–not only for the pups, but for the owner too! The puppies in the individual pictures are: blue girl, pink girl, the male, red girl, and purple girl (left to right).
