This is the last picture of the littermates all together–after this picture was taken the puppies started going to their new homes. Dena and Kendra are holding them in their birth order–Blue girl, Clear boy, Green girl, Purple Boy, and Red Boy.
Roxie’s biggest fan, Tasha, is staying with Cheryl (Roxie’s owner) while her owners are away. Tasha has taken up where she left off with her relationship with Roxie–she shadows her everywhere. Cheryl says that Tasha must think Roxie is her puppy. Wonder how Roxie feels about Tasha?? Probably doesn’t care.
This week was busy for the pups–a trip to the vet for their first puppy shots, a first full bath and drying, and a hair cut so Karen could find out if they had legs and maybe get a chance to see how they move (hasn’t happened yet, but I’m hopeful and watching closely). All the pups look so cute with their new hair cuts!! This is a fun age!!! Love puppies!!!!!!!
Puppies from left to right: Blue girl, Clear boy, Green girl (no, she isn’t being strangled–just not cooperating), Purple boy, Red boy. The pups have really grown–somehow week 6 pictures never got taken–there was probably to much going on and no time for pictures. At the end of week 7 the pups are continuing to “cut” teeth (that’s the reason for some staining beneath their eyes) and growing a lot of hair. A favorite activity is to run in the dog room or if the weather is nice to get outside and run in the grass–this week the pups found the “weak” spot in the fence and 3 of them were able to crawl under the gate and make a break for the big world–only to be caught–the gates have since been “puppy proofed!”
Rita and David sent pictures of Lacey on her summer adventures. In the left picture Lacey appears to be enjoying her ride in a kayak and at right she is doing some sailing (and she doesn’t seem to mind the life jacket). Rita reports that Lacey like the boating activities and swimming–but really doesn’t like to walk (at home or out camping on the leash). Sue and I wonder if Lacey just wants to be carried–there are other Bichons in Lacey’s line that like the good life of being carried. Thank you for the pictures Rita–nice to see Lacey and some of the activities you have her doing.
