On Saturday, December 10, the puppies had a busy day–starting at 8 a.m. with a bath, blow dry, and haircut. Around 11 a.m. was the visit to Sue’s house for the puppy evaluation for show dog qualities and a lot of playing in a new environment. Shortly after the evaluation, Dina selected her pup–red boy, now known as Dale, followed by KyAnna and Logan selecting brown boy who will be called Oats, then Michelle and Hector adopted Blue boy, and Jessica and Brian adopted Green boy. By 6:30 p.m. all the puppies were on the way to their new homes to get settled in and hopefully the new owners were able to get some sleep Saturday night.
Week 9 was bath time and the pups did well–below are Green, Brown, and Red in the bath–somehow Blue didn’t get his picture taken all wet, but he did get a bath. The dryer is not their favorite, but they tolerated it and we got all the work done. As I post this, the pups are 11 weeks old today and will be going to their new forever homes Saturday.
