It seems like more of everything this week: more food, more play time, more time running through the house, more grooming (more complaining). There have been some new experiences. The pups are spending one on one time with me, I have begun leash training. So far, none of them has freaked out. Today they had their first car ride. They handled that quite well also.

Seven weeks old today:

The Green Boy gets in the corner of the xpen and tries to climb out….his Mother, Violet, did the same thing at his age and she is still a climber.
We made the mistake of letting the puppies play and play, thinking it would be easier to get a picture. Our mistake: it was hard to get them to keep their eyes open. Blue Boy was ready to sleep
Pink girl continues to impress with her confidence and “don’t mess with me” attitude.
Orange Girl Is also ready to defend her territory when one of her larger brothers picks a fight.
Gray Boy is pretty agreeable and self-confident. Wake up, Gray Boy!

  1. They are all so adorable, Sue!
    They’re getting so big!!
How fun to see their little personalities develop.

  2. Hi Sue, We love Fridays because we get to see new images of Violet’s babies. Of course, they just get cuter by the minute. I can’t imagine how much fun you must be having watching them change and interact with each other. Do they spend anytime with Violet at this point? Donald and I are working on a book for our beloved Murphy. I have pictures of him at the same stages as today’s pictures when we had our first look at the group. You can’t send too many pictures as far as we are concerned. Cheers, Jo Anne

    • Yes, Violet is still interested in feeding them in the morning. Yesterday was the first day I saw her trying to play with them. I’m so glad you are enjoying watching them grow.

  3. Love Love Love them all! I kept looking yesterday to see the update and then my day got away from me. It was wonderful to wake up and see them this morning. ❤ I see why you love doing this. Lots of love to all.

  4. Oh wow have they changed just in one week! Beautiful litter Sue. They are adorable!

  5. Each week, as Friday approaches, I anticipate seeing the new photos of Violet’s pups on the blog. Thanks for posting them! It is fun to be able to watch them grow and to look back at past posts to see how they have changed over the weeks. So cute!!
