The puppies are moving around more so I gave them a puppy box that is larger.  They were not fans, nor was their Mother.  I think they all missed the closeness they enjoyed in the smaller space.  We adjust!  I’ll try again in a few days.

Turquoise girl has her eyes open just a bit, but she is getting ready to go to sleep. She is curling up in a little ball.

All the puppies had their nails cut today. It tired Purple boy right out. He’s ready for his nap.

Green Boy, Carl, is the first puppy to reach the milestone of 1 lb. in weight.

Blue Boy is 13.8 oz., just a bit more than his brother Purple.

This is my Red Girl. She was the explorer today during the time the puppies were in the “big” box.

At one week old, the puppies are wiggly and squirmy.  If only they would hold still and pose for a picture!

Red girl is the first born. She was not happy to be removed from her warm puppy pile for this picture!

Turquoise girl was the last born. When we first saw her, she was making lots of noise. She did the same today for her picture. These girls can out yell their brothers.

Blue boy and purple are about the same size. They are not small, but are the smallest of this litter.

Green boy was born in the car. Someone suggested we should call him “Carl” in honor of his birth place.

All the puppies have good pigment for this age, but Purple boy has the best.

Junebug had her puppies on Monday, May 13.  We have 2 girls, 3 boys

All are healthy and eating well.

Junebug is such a good mother. She is very careful with them, and is keeping them warm and happy.

The long awaited litter of Junebug and Lumiere is due very soon.

My tummy is so big and it’s hard to get comfortable. I like to lie on the cool wood floor.

And just in case someone wants to rub my tummy, so much the better. Doug is my BFF and he gives the best tummy rubs!
