Skye getting a hair cut from Sheri last weekend. At 7 1/2 months she is growing up quickly. Skye has puppy hair, but it is getting better with each trim. After her hair cut, Skye shows off her profile and how nice she looks. Now if she will just not consider walking on the leash punishment and keep her happy tail up all will be well–she is getting better with the leash, I’ve had other dogs that took a while to learn that going for a walk on a leash was fun.
It’s hard to believe that 13 weeks ago these babies were so tiny and helpless. Green Boy only weighed 3.6 oz. Now he is over 5 lbs. They grow so fast and learn so much in a short time span.
These lovely boys are from Baron x Sunny. They are almost 9 months old. Wilson lives with me and Dan lives with a wonderful family here in Bellingham. If only we could harness their energy………
Three puppies remain at our house. We’re missing Blue Boy and I keep counting heads and expecting to see 4 puppies. Green Boy’s name is Chewy. Purple Girl is called Morgan. We’re trying out names for Brown Boy but so far nothing seems right.
Our little charmer, Blue Boy, has gone to his new home. He has a new name, Brinkley, a new bow tie and a new personalized coat.
Photos are compliments of Jennifer and family. They visited (and helped bathe puppies) when the pups were 10 weeks old. Blue Boy will be living with Jennifer. His new name is Brinkley.
No matter how you want to say it, the puppies were not at all interested in being photographed today! They are 11 weeks old and think they have better things to do than sit still for a picture.
The puppies had lots and lots of visitors. That makes them happy. Everybody has their favorite puppy. They are such a nice litter that in my case that means, “I like this one. Well, now I like this one best. Maybe this puppy would be the best for the conformation ring.” I have found it very difficult to pick my favorite! My friend, Joanne, will be getting a show girl from this group. She was having trouble deciding also. Instead of going home with one puppy, she took two. Once she lives with them for a little while she will determine which girl she wants to keep and one will be returned to me. And the little girls will have each other during their transition to a new home.
Ah….I’m enjoying what seems like a rare peaceful moment! The puppies had a romp in the kitchen and are recharging for their next big adventure.
