Some of us took the long flight to Orlando Florida for the Royal Canin dog shows. It was a fun but very busy few days.  Millie and Carlo celebrated their 7 month birthdays while we were there.  This is the largest show they are likely to attend.

Millie met her Daddy, Lumi. He gave her a sweet kiss.

Tasheena is showing Millie. Millie thinks this is lots of fun!

The Bichons are (from left) Millie, Shae and Carlo. They are joined by their Flat Coat 7 month old friend, Tango.

The group spent three days in Monroe WA at the Whidbey Island Kennel Club.  We had a great time and some good wins.

Junebug was Select today, giving her the third major win toward her grand championship. Kyanna did a fabulous job with her grooming and handling!

It’s been a fun weekend at the Whidbey Island Kennel Club in Monroe, WA.  The young ones are doing well.  Yesterday was Carlo’s big day and today Millie was awarded her first 2 points.

Millie, enjoying her victory.

Absolutely Agape Heard the Siren’s Song (Lumier and Junebug)

Although he almost looks like a different puppy in each of these photos, this is indeed Carlo, Millie’s brother.

Carlo has competed four times in the 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition and placed in group three of those times (Millie beat him once!).

Both Carlo and Millie have now aged out of the 4-6 month class and are moving on to the real competition in the 6-9 month age group.

They look innocent, don’t they?

Don’t be fooled!

Millie (left) is resting next to her Aunt Pixie after a fun playtime. There was blood involved!  (but only because Millie lost a baby tooth)

Blue, who just had his 4th birthday, absolutely loves sticks!

Tasheena did a great job showing Millie. Millie doesn’t look too impressed with her win. However, she did try to taste the ribbons.

Millie and Carlo competed in a 4-6 month puppy show in Boise,Idaho. First dog shows are a lot for a young puppy – there is a lot of noise, a lot of dogs and strangers, a new environment.  Millie did better than I could have hoped.  Day one she was Best of Breed and got a Group 2 in the non-sporting puppy competition.

Day 2, and Millie is cheering on her friends.

Millie is going to her first dog show.  It’s for puppies 4-6 months old.  She’ll get to see her brother and her other Bichon buddies.  Should be fun!

Another bath?? Nobody told me I’d have to have a bath before a show!

I’m finally clean and dry. I’m glad that’s over!

Millie recently celebrated her 4 month birthday.  Teething has gone into “overdrive” and soon she will lose those sharp baby teeth and her permanent teeth will come in.

I think I’ll chew on this piece of metal!
